Install in minutes and refill just once per week

100% water absorption with no run-off

Deep water saturation promotes root growth
Absolutely love, love , love the bags!! I fill them up and forget it. Best part is I know exactly how much water my new trees are getting. Thank you!! .
These watering bags are the best investment we made for our new trees. We live on the Eastern plains where our soil is very sandy and drains quickly. The slow realease allows the water to penetrate deep down and we don't have to water every day. The trees are doing great! Highly recommend. They are easy to use and hold a lot of water.
No complaints!
I’m going to have to poke holes in the bags because the water is unable to drain. Waste of money.
Treegator bags are the best and the original like this one last for years. I needed to give one of my large trees, water and nutrients due to the extreme heat in Texas in August bought an extra two because two of the four that I had just wore out after many years, qualities great.

It works. We had to zip two together, per the instructions for my tree. It only gets lifted when you slightly fill it (per the instructions), and again once a week we unzip it, move it, mow the lawn, place it back around the tree. Empty of course. Anyway one of the two has already come apart at the seam near the handles. 3 days past the return window. We’ll ride it out and look for something higher quality when we replace it.
We love these tree bags for getting young trees established. Especially during summer months to ensure they get enough water! They were super easy to install and seem to last. We’ve had them for about 3 months now and haven’t had any leakage or issues. Just blooming crepe myrtles!
This is my 4th Treegator bag--one for each tree I've planted over the past 3 years. They are durable and easy to fill, as long as you follow the directions about grabbing the handles to settle the bag in place when it is partially full, so that it doesn't lean into the tree. I had a doughnut style tree bag initially for one of my trees, but raccoons tore holes in it. In the 3 years that I've had one of my Treegator bags, it has not been disturbed by raccoons, and it still looks brand new, even though it sits out all summer in the sun.
I see these all over town I know they work I gave it four stars because of that. However, I am having two problems. In spite of following the directions about lifting it up when there’s a little bit of water in it to make sure it’s seated properly it does not drain.. it seals itself off. In the video you can see I have the edges propped up with a rock which lets the holes let the water out so that’s good but this water has been sitting full for three days without me checking it. Now its draining. Problem number two it’s knocking over the tree, so I have the tree staked up and the tree gator tied to the porch to keep it from leaning on the tree. I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to work.
These are absolutely necessary when you’ve spent good money on a new tree and need to make sure it thrives! Hand-watering takes so long, and in the blazing heat I wonder whether it evaporates too fast to really benefit the tree. These bags take a little time to fill, but once that's done I feel assured that the water is actually getting deep into the soil over a period of hours. I am currently using 2 bags zipped together, and it is a little tricky getting the bags filled and properly centered around the trunk; make sure to stop about 1/3 way full and lift the bags up to reposition them and ensure they are opening up completely at the bottom. The cost seems a little steep, but I have bought the knockoff brand watering bags in the past and the thin plastic split before they were even a month old. My Treegators have lasted through many seasons without issue!
These work great. I have 7 of them for 7 trees and use them quite often. The bags take a few minutes to fill and 4-5 hours to drain (that can vary depending on random surface/placement conditions). The bag material is very nice and sturdy with reinforced "mesh" stitching. The zippers operate smoothly. The bags can be zipped in multiples together easily for larger trees. I have also used them to place next to smaller shrubs that I cant wrap around. There are two holes in the bottom that I can see that are the drip source. I also have added a cup of fish emulsion liquid fertilizer to the bags when watering, Ill see how that goes. (*Update below)Occasionally the holes at the bottom can become "pinched" underneath with a flap of material (*Update below), but that is easily remedied by picking the bag up and putting it down again. You can see when that happens if the bag hasn't drained a bit after an hour. I would easily recommend this product. Make sure your hose can reach.*Update:1) several bags did stop draining. But it is fixable. The two holes exist inside the "tucked in" corner, and sometimes the pressure of the bag fill can + the placement can cause the hole to become clogged. I believe the placement is intentional for controlled release, but under certain conditions it stops itself shut. They would do well to place something around the hole to ensure it does not seal when compressed.2) For the love of dogs do not use fish emulsion fertilizer with these. It is a trifecta of terror. Why? A) The bags never drain fully (which is fine to itself) 2) Flies absolutely love fish emulsion fertilizer for food and egg laying. 3) maggots thrive in these bags. It was an unpleasant discovery. I will still absolutely use fish emulsion for fertilizer, but I will simply apply it to the tree mulch directly (diluted, of course). Just not via the bags. I still love these things. But I am updating to 4/5 stars due to the corner flap periodically causing the drain holes to compress close (about 10% of the time). They need to engineer a small piece to prohibit this.
Absolutely love, love , love the bags!! I fill them up and forget it. Best part is I know exactly how much water my new trees are getting. Thank you!! .

Easy to use. A bit too expensive though for what it is IMO.
I bought two, one for a newly planted sapling and the other for a struggling tree that doesn’t do well in hot weather. It’s very frustrating to find a full bag after two days and this happens regularly. When a bag is full of water it’s impossible for me to reposition it to get it seeping again. I’m ready to poke holes in it! Luckily I have a strong neighbor who manages to lift it enough to eventually unclog it.
A landscaper told me about this bag, it sure beats moving the hose around every 15 minutes or so and guessing how much water you're using. Just fill it and walk away. If you spent a lot of money on a new tree it's worth the cost.
Easy to set up, seems durable. Happy with purchase.
Seems to work well. Nice to have a back up one.
I had 2 expensive maple trees planted in my front yard last fall. I got tired of dragging the 100 feet of water hose to them and leaving it in the front yard to water these trees every 2-3 days. See we started into an extended drought that 10 months later we are still in a drought. I could fill these once a week and then later every 2 weeks into the winter. This spring I had to put them back on and start the process again. My trees are thankfully still alive and doing well. I highly recommend these for newly planted trees as they can be expensive a just the planting work alone is hard and I paid a professional to pickup and bring here to plant them. Great idea and I bought the real deal not a knockoff but they look like new after all this time.
Water holes clog up too easily; randomly and even a couple weeks after install. Corners blow out at some point in it's life
Great for keeping dog urine off trunk of younger trees
Effective for watering trees with single trunks, purchased several of these and the stitching has torn from the handle of two of them. Highly recommend setting them and filling up with water once situated around the tree base and not moving them with water in the bag as the handles will not hold up. For the price, I expected more.
Completely satisfied with this product and ease of use.
Great .., wish I had used earlier … very nice in our drought conditions
My Experience, 1st-time use: The bag has taken over 60+ hours for the water to drain out, yet label says 7-9 hrs. I found it helpful to lift and reposition the bag, BUT, I waited until the bag was 1/2 empty because the handles cannot lift the weight of 15 gals. of water. When I lifted the bag, water was dripping out of the base, so I think the seep-holes may get easily clogged. I'm going use a safety pin to tap holes into the underside of the bag, and I will continue to use it. The filling hole is a 2" long slit, so it's easy to fill it up from a water hose. The instructions on the label tag are in a small font, and they are clear to understand. I don't know yet if mold will grow inside the damp bag during storage.
Great products and great customer service. Would definitely purchase again.
Exactly as marketed. Easy to water new tree every 5 days.
Straight forward instructionsI love that they are made in the USA
The newly planted tree in Texas is getting the water it needs. I just have to fill up the bag once or twice a week (depending on temps and rainfall) and let the Treegator do its thing. Easy peasy.

"We have 4 of these (Treegator® bags) and not one tree has died since we began using them. I think we should plant some more trees just so we can have pleasure of watching these guys in action!"
Travis Mohrman - City of Ballwin, MO Parks & Rec
"I have used (Treegator®) bags for years. For a city, they are perfect, because they effectively and efficiently water our trees while not costing us many man hours at all."

"Our little 5-foot tree had only sprouted maybe 10 new leaves after we planted it, and it's existing leaves were small and kinda stuck at a certain size. Once we put (a Treegator®) on, it grew brand new branches that are now about 3 to 4 feet each, with large, healthy leaves all along them."
Alvaro DaSilva, - ADS Landscapes, Inc.
"I am really surprised to see how easily Treegator® is to install. They really got the job done effectively and concentrated the watering to the intended area; leaving the job site still dry and maneuverable."
Amazon Customer
"We lost a newly planted tree a couple of years ago because we just struggled to keep it watered well through a hot summer. Last fall we planted a new one, about 7 feet tall, and bought (a Treegator®) for watering. It's so easy to fill within a couple of minutes and walk away. Well worth every penny!"
Double Bag Setup
Use a Treegator® Original Slow-Release Watering Bag on small as well as large trees.
Water trees up to 8 inches in trunk diameter by zipping two Treegator® Original bags together back-to-back.
When two Treegator® Original Bags are zipped together back-to-back, it allows each bag to expand more than it normally would when zipped to itself around the trunk of a tree as a Single Bag setup.
The amount of water each Treegator® Original Bag can hold when used in a Double Bag Setup can be up to 25 gallons, but actual water capacity is dependent upon the trunk diameter of the tree being irrigated.
Once a Week Watering
Compared to conventional watering methods, Treegator® Slow-Release Watering Bags can reduce your watering frequency to just one refill every 5 to 7 days
